IPT Grant Program and the Grant Process
Do you have an innovative and effective investor education and protection program? IPT considers grant programs providing effective investor education and protection at the local, State, and regional level.
IPT Grant Program
The IPT grant program is a competitive grant program focusing on innovative and effective investor education and protection programs delivered at the local, State and regional level. All programs to be considered by the IPT Trustees must be investor education and protection programs and must include a demonstration of support from the appropriate State Securities Regulator.
Please review all of the following background and policy documents prior to submitting a Letter of Inquiry.

Grant Letters of Inquiry
The first step in the IPT grant process is the submission of a Letter of Inquiry (LOI). LOIs are reviewed throughout the year, and applicants should receive notification of acceptance or denial within 8 weeks.
Grant Proposals
The second step in the IPT grant process is the submission of a Grant Proposal. Grant Proposals to the IPT are accepted by invitation only upon the review and approval of a Letter of Inquiry by the IPT Trustees.
IPT Grant Awards
IPT has funded a variety of investor education and protection programs including programs that educate teachers and students about investing, encourage older Americans to verify investment products before they buy, teach military personnel how to recognize investment scams and many more.
