The Basics of Saving and Investing

The Basics of Saving and Investing: Investor Education 2020 is an investor education and protection teaching guide. It was developed for high school teachers, however its content lends itself to all types of investor education and protection initiatives including college courses, work place education, after school programs, seminars for adults and seniors, etc. The Basics can also be used by individuals as a “do-it-yourself” course.

The Basics Train the Trainer PPT

IPT has developed a “Train the Trainer” PowerPoint presentation for educators currently using The Basics who would like to share it with other educators. The PowerPoint provides tips and strategies for teaching investor education and protection in the classroom using “The Basics of Saving and Investing: Investor Education 2020” guide for educators.

Teach Video Segments

The Teach Video Segments are designed to be used by educators in investor education trainings and in conjunction with IPT’s The Basics of Saving and Investing guide. The Teach video segments are also available for download as windows media files for use as part of non-commercial, investor education and protection initiatives. They can be embedded in PowerPoint presentations and used with other presentation software packages.
